You may think that mist opportunities is a miss-spelling, and should be missed opportunities.
In fact, it’s not wrong.
Whenever you travel up or down the West Coast and back through Cental Otago via Haast Pass in dismal weather you are bound to see many mist opportunities.
Here is just a small selection of the many photographs I took as we travelled recently from Greymouth down to Haast and through to Central Otago. I think it’s fair to say that when the weather is questionable, there are are always two things to photograph – water and mist.
